Purpose of the Foundation Class.

This is a TEMPLATE for your Ministry. You can re-edit and teach it to suit the vision and mandate of your Church’s beliefs and core values.

The purpose of this Foundation Class is basically to provide new believers in Christ Jesus with essential teachings and principles of faith.

These classes aim to establish a solid spiritual foundation upon which new believers can grow in their relationship with God and understand the core beliefs and practices of God’s Kingdom.

This Foundation Class will cover SIX CLASSES:

Class 1: Salvation and New Life in Christ.

Class 2: The Authority and Reliability of Scripture.

Class 3: The Nature of God and the Trinity.

Class 4: The Person and Work of Jesus Christ.

Class 5: The Believer’s Life and Discipleship.

Class 6: The Power of the Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts.

The exact content and structure of Foundation Classes can vary from one Church or Ministry to another, but the primary goal is to nurture new believers and help them lay a firm foundation for their journey as believers. These classes often provide a safe and supportive environment for new believers to ask questions, seek guidance, and connect with others who are also on a similar spiritual journey.

After completing a Foundation Class, new believers should be encouraged to continue their spiritual growth by regularly attending church services, participating in small groups or Bible studies, and engaging in personal prayer and Bible study.

This ongoing process of growth and discipleship is crucial in the Christian faith. It helps believers mature in their understanding of God’s Word and become active participants in their faith community.
